On October 20th, the Meeting House, a multi-site church with 14 sites across Ontario, invited all of their church sites to come together to participate in their exciting One Roof event. Thousands of people gathered at the Brampton Powerade Centre to enjoy various exciting activities for families – including a food drive for Speroway!
More than 3,300 pounds of food was collected for us to give away! We are so thankful for their generosity that will help us deliver hope to other Canadian families. Peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables, and many other great food items, that families will really appreciate, are now in our warehouse. People eat an average of 3-5 pounds of food per day, so using 4 pounds 
per day, they collected enough food for 825 people! Our Speroway volunteers will sort the food and it will be distributed locally to needy individuals and families. Thank you Meeting House – you truly love your neighbours!
