Message from Co-chairs

We are pleased to be co-chairing the fifth annual Nyota Wezesha Art Auction in support of a cause we are passionate about. This event is a wonderful opportunity to purchase works by some of Canadas leading artists, while transforming the lives of disadvantaged youth in Kenya. Proceeds from the event will provide scholarships and mentoring to academically gifted destitute youth to support their education from high school through university. The focus is to empower motivated young people to use their skills to make a difference in their communities - to be the next generation of role models and leaders.

We hope you can join us on September 21st for another delightfully fast-paced and inspiring evening!

“Somebody told me I can do it. And I started believing it's true, I can do it. You see, what you hear shapes the field you get into. I had that, and it started growing in me. I started developing a passion for math, and eventually in the national exam I got an A in mathematics. You see, education is power.”
